"Fiona is a Great Teacher. My son Ed has flourished both as a pianist and as a musician with
Fiona's help and support. She not only successfully guided him through the exams culminating
in a comfortable pass at Grade 8 this spring but encouraged him to enjoy playing music from
a wide range of genres of the piano repertoire, which he still enjoys today.
She also taught him music theory which will stand him in good stead as he continues his
musical studies as a trombonist at Birmingham Conservatoire.

"Where do I start, Fiona taught me piano right from the age of 12 when I joined Burton Borough
in year 7 right up until recently when I left for university to study music aged 18,
I learnt pretty much everything I know about music from her, from music theory to piano technique
and aural perception training, as well as recommending me to the BBS Bands which were a huge
part of my life while I was in school and sixth form, I would recommend to anyone who is a bit nervous
about starting in music as you will be put straight at ease, everything about it is professional but laid back
at the same time, if you work hard you get a lot back which is something that I will really miss, because
I doubt I will have another piano teacher like Fiona again."
"Fiona taught our daughter from primary school until she left for university aged 18.
In that time she passed many examinations but more importantly developed a love
for playing the piano. Fiona also taught her Theory Grade 5 which enabled her to
access the higher grades in piano but also in classical singing and musical theatre.
Playing the piano is now something that our daughter does for pleasure and relaxation
and this is something from which she will continue to benefit throughout her life.
