Currently all my teaching takes place at Burton Borough School’s Music Studios in a purpose built, sound proofed practice room with an excellent upright piano and a Yamaha portable grand keyboard. I also have access to a professional standard recording studio if necessary.
The majority of lessons are in school hours during term time. My timetables rotate fortnightly so hopefully pupils do not miss the same school subject each week although their lesson will usually be on the same day.
I issue invoices by email notifying you that the timetable is available to view on my my website during the week before each half term commences. Timetables will also be displayed on the music department notice board.
Important Tuition Information:
- Parents/pupils should advise me of absence from a lesson in advance in person, by email, phone call or text giving as much notice as possible.
- Any missed lessons due to informed absence will be ‘caught up’ at the end of each half term or if this not possible, a credit will be issued against the following half term’s fees. This will also apply if I am not available to teach.
- Pupils are responsible for noting their own lesson time, checking for any possible problems and excusing themselves from their subject lesson if appropriate.
- Pupils who fail to attend a lesson for any reason without prior notice will be charged for that lesson.
- Fees are due on or before the first lesson of the half term.
